Click the picture to embiggen! Patty, Cooper, all of you, tell me about your profs and lineage so I can add them, please?
Also note: this chart came directly from the memory of Dick Dorsey, so if there are any errors, let me know and I’ll fix ‘em.

I can trace my lineage back to jaap stotijn, but he’s not on that thing…
Don’t know who taught him, either.

Oh my … sort of embarrassing for me, really. I DID have one lesson with Lifschey (wonderful wonderful player and man). Masterclass with John Mack (he only made fun of me). My own “real” teacher was Robert Hubbard who, I think, studied at some point under DeLancie. I’ll have to ask him. But I’m a “B” player. That’s it for me, and I’m fine with it. I love my little “B” life.

You spelt Chip’s name wrong. It Chip Hamann, not Haman.

Spelled? Ugh..I need more sleep..or maybe I’m still thinking about food. I had spelt (the grain) with mushrooms last week or so.

Oops. I’ll edit that in the next version.

Hey. my teacher is on here (Jean Landa)! I sometimes get little lineage lessons from him; it’s so cool how we oboists have family trees!
