   I hate when you’re sitting close enough to see the programmed encore music sitting on someone’s stand and you just want to run up and take it away because there’s no way in HELL you want to sit there listening to that overplayed thing. (certain selections from the Carmen Suites come to mind)

   I don’t like people complaining about things being overplayed (such as Pachelbel’s Canon).

   Well, it *is* overplayed. There’s just no getting around it.

   And in answer to your question: Optimus Prime, NO. Me? A conductor? Bahahaha.

   I’m sorry, but I happen to like Pachelbel’s Canon, overplayed or not. I don’t think I know the Carmen Suites (although they may be one of those things where I know the music and not the words). There’s a reason things are “overplayed”, and that’s because they’re good.

   So you wouldn’t want to be a conductor? You won’t be taking any of the conducting classes, then? I’ll probably take the first one, at least. (That doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll be a conductor. )

   No, I have no aspirations to be a conductor. I’m not organized/coherent/coordinated enough.

   I liked conducting class….although on my last test I was absolutely devoid of all emotion…..which is not like me…..
